Pearl Shapes
Pearls come in a variety of shapes, each with their own unique beauty.

Round
This is the most sought after shape and consists of the top few percent of the entire pearl cultivation. These pearls are most symmetrical and are typically round to near round.
Drop
Drop Shaped Pearls are elongated and symmetrical. These pearls are typically tear drop shaped, pear shaped or oval shaped.

Button
Button pearls are flattened to some degree, making them resemble a button or perhaps a disk rather than a perfect sphere.
Baroque
A baroque pearl is a pearl that has an irregular, non-spherical shape. Baroque pearls can come in a variety of shapes, including free form, pinched, lumpy, or curved.

Circle
A "circle shape pearl" refers to a pearl that has visible concentric rings or grooves encircling its surface, essentially looking like a series of circles around the pearl's circumference. This circle can be applied to various pearl shapes like round or baroque pearls.
